The chief of staff, Army announced the following assignments:

Brig. Gen. Christopher F. Bentley, deputy commanding general (Support), 3d Infantry Division; and commander, Train Advise Assist Command-East, Resolute Support Mission Joint Command, Operation Freedom’s Sentinel, Afghanistan, to deputy director for operations, National Joint Operations Intelligence Center, Operations Team-1, J-3, Joint Staff, Washington, District of Columbia.

Brig. Gen. James R. Blackburn Jr., deputy commanding general (Maneuver), 3d Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Georgia, to deputy commanding general, U.S. Army North (Fifth Army), Joint Base San Antonio, Texas.

Brig. Gen. Bradley T. Gericke, director, chief of staff, Army Planning Group, Office of the Chief of Staff, Army, Washington District of Columbia, to deputy director, special plans working group, J-5, U.S. Central Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida.
