Marine Gen. Peter Pace, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, traveled around the world,
Aug. 13 to 19, 2007, to meet with troops and local officials in Djibouti, South Korea, Japan and Hawaii.
“The best part of the trip was just to hug the troops and say thanks,” Pace said on the flight home.
